No Comments I love Taiwan!
Saying goodbye sometimes really hurts. But it’s inevitable… So the day finally came, when I have to pack all my things, and head home. I’m sad, because I had really wonderful time here and I met many interesting people and now I’m afraid that I won’t see them ever again… I really fell in love with Taiwan. The time here flew so quickly, but on the other hand I feel like I have been here much longer. It’s because I experienced so many things and met so many people, did many things, saw many places and ate a lot of food:)) I think I really enjoyed every single moment here! And it’s truth that now I am a bit tired…
I really want to bring so many things back home to share them with my family and friends and to also keep the memory of Taiwan more fresh in my mind. You have to think I’m crazy,, but I really packed 10 kilos into a package and sent it home. And in this package there are 2 kilos of rice, noodles, soysauce, “togan”… So I can’t wait to receive that package!
I packed my things for maybe 3 hours! I am not good at that, and also I hated the thought of leaving….. For lnch we went with my family to a good restaurant, a little more spice food. In the afternoon I went with homepa and Jamie to play basketball in the park, but it was so hot, that we were sweating heavily after a while. Then we also played cards at home and enjoyed the last moments together. For lunch we had my favourite beef roll, and also dumplings and noodles. I ate a lot, just to take something home.
At 9pm we went to the airport. And what a surprise! Elaine and her husband came here to say goodbye to me! I was so shocked that I started crying again. She brought me 2 mangos for my journey:) When was the time to say goodbye I cried again, and finally I made Elaine cry too! later she wrote me that she cried really hard until her husband told her to stop it
The plane took of at 22:45, and in Dubai it was at 5 am (time in Dubai = 9am in Taiwan). I had to spend 12 hours waiting for the next flight. That was really exhausting. I couldn’t sleep much and I didn’t want to go outside of the airport, because I was really tired and I had many things in my hands. So I just wondered around the airport, tried many perfumes…. before 5pm I finally boarded the plane to Vienna and it took another 6 hours to get there.
Now I’m home… it’s strange to continue your life where you left it after experiencing so much… But this is reality and I have to fight it. I hope I can keep in touch with my friends in Taiwan, and also that I can go there again and soon! I really LOVE Taiwan – tea, food, mountains, sea and ocean, but most of all PEOPLE! Thank you for everything and also thank you for following my blog. I hope you enjoyed it and also got some information. Taiwan is a good country to visit, so don’t be afraid to go there!
